Lililotte, children's clothes
« Bio chic, bon genre »

The Lililotte adventure begins in January 2015 in Nantes. Two mothers, Nathalie, then a textile buyer in a large group, and Charlotte, a nurse with a passion for sewing and children's fashion, decide to combine their talents and skills to create together ethical, organic, chic and affordable children's clothing that meets their expectations.

Lilotte was born, clothes and accessories for babies and children made of organic cotton certified GOTS, and available from 3 months to 12 years old.

At the beginning of 2017, Nathalie continues the adventure with a new team but for the rest nothing has changed, Lililotte continues to offer you and your children "bio chic bon genre" clothes combining refinement and trend.

Each collection is imagined and designed in our premises in Nantes, in order to remain always closer to our customers and their expectations.

The fabrics and knits are made to order and exclusively for us in India, a country selected for its immense know-how in textiles, which is also organic. The Indian workshops chosen by us are GOTS certified and guarantee humane and environmentally friendly working conditions.

The clothes are also made in India, following the same criteria.

THE LILILOTTE APPROACH

By embarking on the creation of a line of children's clothing, we wanted our approach to be ethical.

We therefore looked for a supplier who meets the international standards of GOTS certification in order to guarantee us social and environmental responsibility.

La certification GOTS,
ça veut dire quoi ?

GOTS is an international standard which means Global Organic Textile Standard. Organic cotton is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and harvested by hand. The sustainable production practices employed do not pollute water, soil or air. Non-allergenic and soft to the touch, our clothes are made with the well-being of our children in mind.

The GOTS organic textile standard is recognized as a worldwide reference for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental criteria throughout the supply chain of organic textiles and also requires compliance with social criteria.

Beyond the certifications that are essential for us to preserve the health of our children, the health of the planet and the dignity of those who make the clothes, dressing your children at Lililotte is above all about offering them quality clothing. Lilotte organic cotton is both flexible and resistant, your children will know how to make the difference!
